For over 60 years, he has toured theatres, holiday resorts, and big tops.
His partnership with his son, Danny Adams, grew into the iconic stunt-filled Cirque Du Hilarious.
A master clown and comic craftsman, Clive remains the beating heart of the show, guiding the madness and the mischievous soul families return to year after year.

20 Years of Panto
For two decades, Clive Webb, Danny Adams, and Mick Potts have turned the Newcastle Theatre Royal Pantomime into a full‑blown festive circus of mayhem. Danny’s wild antics, Clive’s master‑of‑mischief timing, and Mick’s brilliantly blank‑faced reactions have become the North East’s Christmas tradition. They guarantee big laughs, bigger disasters, and total family fun.
Working alongside long‑time panto producer Michael Harrison, the trio have helped the Theatre Royal achieve some of the highest panto attendance figures in the UK, with many seasons selling out before opening night.
Every year they blow the roof off the Theatre Royal with slapstick chaos, runaway gags, and the kind of comic carnage only they can deliver. It’s why audiences book early, return yearly, and leave crying with laughter.
